Playing with the New Pink Paislee Spring Jamboree Line and My Favourite Photo from Mom and Dad's Wedding

Here's a layout of my two dear friends, Diane and Izzy at Crop for Kids. I love how the new Pink Paislee Spring Jamboree line goes so well with these photos! Hard to see here, but I added some pretty turquoise Stickles to the chandelier. Love the sparkle and all the cheerful colours on this page.

I've been wanting to scrap this photo of my mom and dad's wedding for a while but never could decide on the right paper. The Kaiser Kraft Sweet Nothings collection was perfect. I just love this photo of the two of them and my uncle Eddie (he's holding the umbrella).
Remember that Washi tape I made? Well, here's a super quick and simple card I made using it. Thanks for stopping by to visit!

What a Lovely Way to Spend a Sunday!

I spent the day over at my dear friend's Sue's house today. We had such a fun time playing in her studio experimenting with water colours and alcohol inks. We just played. It was great! I created this little whimsical painting inspired by the uber talented Diana Trout.

Sue made me a delicious lunch and showed me how to make her super easy and quick homemade bread! I'm running out today to pick up my own pizza stone so I can recreate this beautiful Artisan loaf.

I was mesmerized by her beautiful kettle and tried to capture the perfect shot.

Just outside Sue's kitchen window is her hummingbird feeder. I captured the following shots of this darling little female hummingbird.

Daisy spent the whole day with us. What a good girl she is!
My dear friend Sue.
Thanks again Sue for such a lovely day. I learned so much and had such a fun time! How blessed am I to have such a good friend as you!

Homemade Washi Tape and Spoiler Alert - My ATCs

I watched a few tutorials on Pinterest for making your own Washi tape and was dying to try it myself so I picked up some tissue paper in a variety of colours, cut them into strips, stamped a background polka dot stamp onto each of them with a coordinating colour and then applied my SookWang tape to the tissue paper. I then trimmed the tissue paper to the edge of the SookWang double sided tape and wrapped them around these wooden spools that my mother-in-law gave me. I knew they would come in handy one day! I love the bright colours and can't wait to use them on my projects!

If you're in the ATC swap with me, and wish to keep it a surprise, you may not want to scroll down further. Just sayin...

Here is my finished ATC card for my swap. I wanted to do something that currently reflected what I am loving most right now, so I decided to do a little mixed media ATC. I hope the Paper Dolls will like them.
