What a Weekend!

Today I'm home recovering from my fabulous weekend at Crop for Kids out in Abbotsford. What a blast! Mary and Sandra did another truly outstanding job organizing this event! So many of the Scrapaholics were able to attend this year and it was super exciting because we were a special part of this year's fundraiser. Our group alone donated $1000 to the BC Children's Hospital through our 50/50 draws and Diane's contribution of a gorgeous purple Making Memories tote filled with scrappin goodness that our Scrapaholics bought tickets for. My friend Hayley and I were a part of the Silent Auction and put together a fun package of great Stampin Up goodies for one lucky bidder. We also donated a Stampin Up door prize worth $75.

My roomies Izzy and Jo were great and we had lots of giggles. We scrapped till 1 am both Friday and Saturday and I took a total of 4 classes and bought 2 class kits to do at home. The classes that I took were amazing! I will be posting photos of the finished products soon. I loved meeting Tia Bennett for the first time, an amazing eclectic artist with a fresh and sunny spirit. A special thank you to Chriss Hird, who designed the most beautiful chipboard album that I will "cherish" forever! Jessie, with Cherish the Thought Scrapbooking out in Port Moody taught the class as Chris was unable to attend as her family had come down with the flu. Jessie did a great job and is very sweet and lots of fun.

Jo and Izzy put on a totally original and fun class called the Secret Garden and we made 5 gorgeous cards. I learned tons of new techniques and can't wait to apply them to my pages! Wait till you see these flowers, Prima...look out! You guys ROCK! In total I got 10 hours sleep over the weekend but slept till 11 am today so I'm all caught up and am going to unpack and start playing again! lol

I took another really fun Card Keeper class with Renee Arendt that was lots of fun too.

Thanks to all my Scrapaholic buddies for making this such a fun weekend. We had a great table! I'm especially thrilled for Carrie, Izzy and Jo who won some fabulous prizes but I'll let them tell you all about that. Enjoy the slide show (just click on the + sign to make it move faster. Thanks for stoppin by! And, remember....Laugh, it's good for the soul!

What Comes Around....

..goes around. (or something like that)

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me, especially for you. I am going to get something from Carrie and Diane - go check out their blogs!
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make but I hope you will. (and if you don't, don't tell me LOL)

2- What I create will be just for you.

3-They say I have a year to get it to you. But I promise it will NOT take that long. (heck, i'm so anal you'll probably get it before xmas!)

4- You have no clue what it's going to be. It’s a surprise to both of us at this point.

The catch? You must re-post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. So the first five people who post, and are willing to pass it along, will get a handmade gift in the mail from me. Since I responded to both Carrie and Diane's posts, I'm extending this to the first TEN people to respond to this post. Be sure to edit your post to five people unless you respond to more than one like I did :)

When you get it, make sure you post a pic on your blog!

Vintage Banner Project

Here's my finished project Jo. I took a really great class from Gail Pierce-Watne, Making Memories product design coordinator at the Creative Expo out in Langley on the weekend. I LOVE how my project turned out! Ever since I can remember, I've always been drawn to Victorian style, vintage lace and trimmings. Sometimes it intimidates me to scrap in this style but the more I do the more I fall in love with this charming style. Thanks for stopping by. I can't wait to play with some more of these yummy goodies!

It's Beginning to Feel A Bit Like Christams...

Haven't done a two page LO in a while. These photos are from two Christmas' ago. I have been wanting to scrap them for a while, but couldn't find the right paper. The Eskimo Kisses worked great!

Chistmas Tag Swap

I pulled out all my yummy Tim Holtz distressing inks and tools and went to town on these tags for our Scrapaholics Tag Swap in November.

Bucket List

Here's my challenge for the Bucket List tag album over at the Paper Passion. I love this idea! I used my glimmer mist and left over embellies. What a great idea! Thanks Kat!

Finally! Some time to Scrap!

Here's a layout I did today using my new Websters Paper. I soooo love this line! It's making me want to bring out all my old photos to scrap!
