Playing with my Derwent Inktense Pencils

Love the richness of these gorgeous pencils! The best thing is they go on like watercolours but dry permanent which is great if you want to add layers. More on that in my next post. For now, here are a couple pages I created over the weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

I'm Back and with some Art Journalling!

I painted this today in my Art Journal. I love playing with my Tim Holtz Distress paints. The blend and react so amazingly well with water. I painted the girl separately and added her along with the butterfly, some text, hearts and flowers. It was fun to create!

Last weekend I had a fun play date with my girlfriends. It was a great day and I managed to finish two more spreads in my Art Journal using mostly Dylusions Inks and acrylics.

I'm taking a year off from Project Life this year so I'm hoping to do a lot more creating in my Art Journal and posting more on my blog so I hope you'll come and visit! Thanks for stopping by today.
