Prisma Coloured Pencils

I am having so much fun using my Prisma coloured pencils! Here's another card I designed this afternoon. Eva and Tobi have me so inspired with all their beautiful shading. Check out their gorgeous cards. Both are on the DT for Elzybells and are so very talented! This technique makes Elizabeth's stamps even more adorable than they already are, give it a try! I still love my Copics, but I have to admit, shading is a lot easier with the Prismas and OMS. I need to practice with my Copics. Check out Haley's blog here. She loves her Copics and is creating some beautiful cards! Thanks for stopping by!

What I love about this card is your wonderful blending with those Prismas. Your grassy spot is precious! Do you use anything over or with the pencils? Or is this image strictly colored with pencils only? It's so beautiful!

Thanks you guys! I am loving my Prismas! I first read about the technique from Tobi Crawford who I have linked on my blog and then Eva, from Stamp S'more was wonderful about telling me what I would need. Her blog is also linked but can be found here http://stampsmore.blogspot.com/ A lot of women from SCS use OMS, odourless mineral spirits. I had a hard time finding them under that name but picked up some odourless solvent for oil by the name of Taltine from my local craft store. I just use that and a blending stump with my pencils adding a bit of colour where I want it to be darkest and then blending in little circles outward. It's so much fun and creates beautiful effects. Check out Tobi's and Eva's blogs for some amazing shading. Bothe Tobi and Eva are on the DT for Elzybells.
